Authorities imposed a three-day quarantine curfew in the Western Province effective midnight Thursday (Oct 29), following a surge in coronavirus cases. Scheduled to be lifted at 5:00 on Monday (2), the lockdown was extended to 5:00 a.m. next Monday (9), as the daily COVID-19 count continued to grow, taking the country’s tally to 10,856 by Sunday (Nov 1).
