Nandika Kumanayake appointed Sri Lanka President’s secretary
COLOMBO – Eminent economist Dr Nandika Sanath Kumanayake was on Monday (23) appointed Secretary to the President of Sri Lanka, shortly after Anura Kumara Dissanayaka was sworn in as the country’s ninth executive president.
Kumanayake, who has a PhD in Development Economics and is a graduate of Kelaniya University, worked at Sri Lanka Customs as an integrity development advisor focusing on research areas such as Corruption and Integrity in Customs, International Trade, and Development Economics.
