Emirates Appoints New Sri Lanka and Maldives Manager
Chandana de Silva will now be Manager Government Liaison – Sri Lanka and Maldives
COLOMBO – Rashid Al Ardha has been appointed the new Manager for Sri Lanka and the Maldives, Emirates Airlines said.
He will take over from Chandana de Silva who will now be Manager Government Liaison – Sri Lanka and Maldives.
De Silva had been with Emirates for 15 years.
“His wealth of experience gained over his career in the countries ‘aviation industries will be leveraged to facilitate the future growth of Emirates operations in Sri Lanka and the Maldives,” Emirates Airlines said in the statement.
Rashid is now the Country Manager Singapore & Brunei; he was previously Country Manager- Indonesia.
Emirates started to fly to Sri Lanka in 1986 and has carried more than 11 million passengers to the country. – EconomyNext
